Utah ranked No. 1 for economic outlook 15th year in a row

Utah has been ranked as the number one state for economic outlook in the country for the 15th year in a row.
The 2022 ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitiveness Index has ranked Utah number one for economic outlook since its inception in 2008.
"After 15 years of being the highest-ranked state, we have never taken its success for granted." Senate President J. Stuart Adams said. "We continue to reach for new heights and are determined never to be complacent. As a state, we buckle down during hard times, relying on our forward-thinking reserve funds and preparing for future uncertainties during good economic periods."
